A most verbose section about myself and I

Hi. I'm Owain. I'm fascinated with robots. I have eclectic tastes when it comes to listening to, and/or creating, music. Terry Pratchett is my favourite author and Bill Bailey is my favourite comedian. Godspeed You! Black Emperor is my long-time favourite band. I like chilli, rum and long bike rides. I'm a country bumpkin at heart.

I started using computers when I was about five and have never stopped since. The first programming language I dabbled in was Visual Basic 6. Hey, I was like nine, don't judge me. Now I use whatever language is best for the job; but seem to gravitate towards Python, PHP and C++ if I'm writing my own code.

I got my first digital SLR camera when I was sixteen, and I also have yet to put that down. I'm roughly a grade 5-6 brass musician too. I dabble in web development (hence why I designed this site), and do relatively cheap designs.
