Hi Everybody! I’m Owain.
I’m currently Nineteen, and living in Aberystwyth, Wales. This site is host to my various projects - and my CV.
I’m doing a Robotics & AI BSc at Aberystwyth University, and have a keen interest for robotics.
I’m also a keen hobbyist photographer, and I dabble in web development too. And music. And philosophy. And making omelettes. I generally like things. Being only so organized, I think I’m just going to throw all of my work on this one website.
Why the domain “Slashing Edge” dot com?
A little play on words. Based on the fact I have a bunch of geeky interests, which are usually cutting edge by themselves (I’m definitely into emergent technologies, intelligent robotics and augmented reality for example). These cutting edges combined create a slashing edge! Also the fact that, when I was about fifteen, it sounded like a cool name for an indie videogame studio, and thus the domain name stuck.
What, were you expecting violence? :)
